This is the glass dome on top of the German Reichstag in Berlin and one of the major tourist attractions. After waiting in line for half an hour in the cold october evening and a security check we walked up the spiral walkway to the top of the dome which provides a beautiful panoramic view of the city.
Through the glass roof you can look down into the Bundestag, the Lower House of the German Parliament. During the day you can see the German politicians doing their job. Even though it doesn't seem to make sense what they are doing.
