I am glad, and I think I owe it to my parents, both strong smokers back then, that I never touched and never will touch a cigarette. Hopefully they will both succeed in their effort to quit smoking eventually.

  • I wish them good luck. In my case, too, the strongest anti-smoking examples in my life were family members who smoked heavily for years and deeply regretted ever starting.
